I was trying to make myself a crunchy Simply Filling snack of popcorn and both my 94% FF bags and my bulk popcorn kernels were expired. :( Boo.

So, now I must eat FauxTato Salad. I’m starving today. It must be from the massive amount of housecleaning I did this morning.

Tonight’s Dinner: Lean Ground Beef Burger on a Deli Flat...

Tonight’s Dinner: Lean Ground Beef Burger on a Deli Flat with Weight Watchers’ Jalapeno Cheese, Grilled Vegetables, and FauxTato Salad (made with Cauliflower!).
I haven’t weighed in yet to check my progress bc/ Wednesdays are my weigh in days, but I can tell in the way my clothes are fitting that this is working for me.

So, I went to Long Island on Thursday. I was planning to stay the night and come home in the morning, but as soon as I got to the hospital to meet the baybeh, I got a phone call that the middle school in the district where I did my student teaching wanted to interview me at 9am on Friday for an 8th grade language arts position. Whoa!

My niece is amazing and so adorable! I’m not sure how the interview went. I’m supposed to hear something this week. I don’t really have my heart set on the position and I know that what ever is supposed to happen will happen.

I’ve been subbing like crazy this week in 2 different districts. I got a call today to interview at a middle and high school for students with behavioral issues. It is the first interview that I landed through my cover letter and resume alone. I didn’t know anyone at the school and have no connection to it, so I am absolutely thrilled that someone thinks the “me on paper” is worth a chance. My interview is in a week. Who knows…could the third interview of this job search be the charm???

Tonight’s Dinner: Spinach Salad with 1 hard boiled egg...

Tonight’s Dinner: Spinach Salad with 1 hard boiled egg and egg white, parmesan cheese, and craisins with Newman’s Own Lighten Up Honey Mustard.

I’m anxiously awaiting an update from my brother. My sister-in-law has been in labor since before 9 this morning. I can’t wait for my niece to arrive! She is probably going to wait until tomorrow because today is my brother-in-law’s birthday. Who would want to share a birthday??

simplifyfitness:
