Apparently...
Expired popcorn doesn’t pop. :( Or my microwave is dying.
I was trying to make myself a crunchy Simply Filling snack of popcorn and both my 94% FF bags and my bulk popcorn kernels were expired. :( Boo.
So, now I must eat FauxTato Salad. I’m starving today. It must be from the massive amount of housecleaning I did this morning.

Simply Filling
Last week, I started using the Weight Watchers Simply Filling technique. It has been very easy to follow and I feel incredible eating Power Foods. I’m going to get back on track with posting menus, meals, and recipes.
I haven’t weighed in yet to check my progress bc/ Wednesdays are my weigh in days, but I can tell in the way my clothes are fitting that this is working for me.

Crazy Week!
The end of last week was nuts! My (first) niece was born on Wednesday. So, I went to Long Island on Thursday. I was planning to stay the night and come home in the morning, but as soon as I got to the hospital to meet the baybeh, I got a phone call that the middle school in the district where I did my student teaching wanted to interview me at 9am on Friday for an 8th grade language arts...

It is a NEW Weight Watchers week
So, last night’s weigh in was bad, but I’m glad I went to my meeting to get a kick in the butt. I’ve been celebrating the end of student teaching too much. When I stepped on the scale last Friday, I was shocked by the number! How in the world did I do that?!? Ugh. But yesterday morning when I stepped on my home scale, I was down 3 pounds from where I was last Friday....

Hello...is it me you're looking for??
So, saying that I’ve been slacking has been an understatement. I have NEVER worked this hard in my LIFE!! Students teaching is amazing. I’m on “Spring Break” this week, but it will hardly be a break. Sunday of Productivity
Hubs and I took a big step last night…we said NO! to going out with people that we didn’t really want to go out with to a place we really didn’t want to drive an hour to get to and stayed home, relaxed, and went to bed early. (Knowing that there would be massive amounts of talking about us behind our backs….Hello, we’re 30.)
